Alamo Drafthouse Cinema announced Wednesday morning that it has voluntarily filed for bankruptcy as the coronavirus pandemic continues to have an effect on its business.

I think the Covid risks about going to a theatre have been wildly overblown (no Covid exposure has been traced to movie theatre attendance, and I haven't felt uncomfortable either time I've been to a movie since the pandemic started), but YMMV.

If a theater is at 25% capacity and a bar is at 25% capacity, does the combination of the two result in a 6.25% capacity?

Well damn. Not only is my favorite theater in Evanston gone, now they're closing the Alamo in Austin. One of my bucket list items was to attend a fantastic fest at that one.
