They're used much more in the R&P forum than in here. Maybe we just don't have strong opinions on anything but ice cream here.

Hey! Right now there are zero votes in the yes catagory yet you can see a small white block, a sort of hanging chad of sorts.

The fix is in!!!

You'd have to vote that 'Yes', she is "Hot or Not" since it is true that she is either "Hot" or she's "Not". Voting No, and thus saying she's Neither "Hot" nor "Not" doesn't make any sense.

Similarly,
Am I positive or lazy?
* Positive
* Lazy
...so you can't be both? or neither?;)

At least the DOOOOOOM poll had a 'Who?' option so I could vote with my true feeling of WTF?

I think poll usage will die down after all of us deprived GGers get over the newness of the feature.
