And now, something for hepcat.

All movie clips, but nothing spoilery that I saw.

Well...I am clutching my pearls.

But right now I'm trying to get the hell out of this office early so I can hit up Binny's Beverage Depot for their craft beer sale before holing up in front of my air conditioner at home.

I'm heading for the matinee at 9:45AM.

EDIT: Got in, got out, got lunch. It's funny, but some of the jokes dragged on a bit too long. And the whole X-force thing was one long gag. (It's not a spoiler if it's in the trailers, right?) that somehow reminds me more of the Simpson's Halloween specials.

Personally, I laughed harder at the end-credit gag and jokes.
Spoiler:
Deadpool "borrowed" Cable's time traveler, went back and saved the woman, went to the Wolverine movie and killed the OTHER Deadpool, went to Ryan Reynold's home and killed him before he can agree to the Green Lantern script...
Honestly, I laughed much harder at those jokes than during the movie itself. On the tentacle scale, 5.5/8

Well seeing this movie just isn't in the cards. Wanted to but stuff kept falling through from money to time to illness. And now Solo will be out or is out I guess and need to try and catch it before its gone. Money for it is not the problem now. Which may itself prove hard to impossible. Life just isn't fine past a certain point I tell you.

Finally saw the movie tonight and the theater was packed!
Spoiler:
I laughed harder and longer during the baby legs scene than at any other movie I've ever watched.

I picked up the Super Duper Cut Friday and watched it Saturday night. I think I liked it more with the extended mix, which is odd since I thought the run time was too much for the theatrical edition. It felt more fleshed out.

Also, the second time around I paid more attention to the little details. Here's one example that had me in awe. At the mansion, Colossus goes to Deadpool to tell him they're going on a mission. He catches DP reading a book called The Canadian Mounted, which features a red cover and a woman crawling seductively towards the viewer. On a lark, I looked it up. Turns out it's the same (fictional) book John Candy is reading when he meets Steve Martin in Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

It was also featured in a deleted scene in the first film (bottom screenshot).

So does Collosus grow back teeth, or can we look forward to him having a gap there forever?

I definitely need to pick this up on BlueRay.

Saw this last night and I agree. The longer cut just gives a bit more action here, a few more jokes there... nothing transformative, but in aggregate it makes the world feel more lived-in.

I was also really pleased that my wife enjoyed it. She hadn't seen DP2 in the theater, and agreed to sit with me on the couch only if she could keep working on her laptop. She didn't get much work done.

No idea, but I'm guessing it will be HUGE in Utah since most Mormons won't see R rated movies.

Even Mrs. Skinypupy - who has steadfastly refused to see either DP film because she doesn't like profanity - texted me this trailer and said she'd like to see it. I was a bit shocked, tbh.

You can get an f-bomb in a PG-13 film. Two if you're on Mars.

But not 84 times

(that's for the original, couldn't find the number for DP2...although I'm sure you'll have it in short order)

So it's apparently a PG-13 recut of Deadpool 2 with the added Princess Bride bridges with Fred Savage.
