Damn.Carrie Fisher had cocaine, methadone, heroin and ecstasy in her system when she died in December, according to an autopsy report released Monday.

This sort of 'news' strikes me as particularly tawdry. Because at this point, what difference is it supposed make to her fans or the general public? It's not as if her struggles with substance abuse were much of a secret.Skinypupy wrote:Damn.Carrie Fisher had cocaine, methadone, heroin and ecstasy in her system when she died in December, according to an autopsy report released Monday.

Re: RIP: Carrie Fisher
I saw a headline this weekend indicating the technical cause of death was 'sleep apnea'. Hmmm

Re: RIP: Carrie Fisher
I have sleep apnea too and there are drugs that my doctor won't prescribe me because of it.
Sounds like her doctors were partly to blame, and her own abuse obviously.

Her assistant that was with her said she has multiple episodes of apnea on the plane. When they got close to where they were going she tried to wake her and couldn't rouse her and then she started throwing up profusely.
