Broncos fire OC Mike McCoy
Former Raiders offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave (previously Denver's QB coach), will take over for McCoy. The Broncos play Oakland this Sunday.
...
The move comes a day after Denver lost its sixth straight game, the franchise's longest losing streak since 1993-1994.

The Broncos' offensive struggles continued Sunday in a 20-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, marking the seventh time in eight games Denver failed to score 20 points.

RIP Terry Glenn
Former NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn died Monday morning at the age of 43 from injuries sustained in a car crash in Irving Texas, the Dallas County coroner's office and City of Irving Fire Department confirmed to NFL.com.

The cause of crash is undetermined at this moment, per Irving Police.

Glenn played 12 seasons in the NFL (six with the Patriots, one with the Packers and five with the Cowboys) after being selected in the first round of the 1996 draft by New England. Glenn had four 1,000-yard seasons in his career and holds the Patriots' rookie record for receptions (90) and receiving yards (1,132) in a season.

Glenn made the 1999 Pro Bowl after catching 69 passes for 1,147 yards and four touchdowns for New England. Glenn also caught the first touchdown pass of Tom Brady's career on Oct. 14, 2001.

I was at the Lions@Bears yesterday, as I have been since 2010. As usual, it delivered a ton of WTF.

They're going to have a tough time against Minnesota. Odds are currently even.

Oh, and BTW, tickets were $459. Each. For club access but no included buffet or open bar. Beers were $11 each.

$250 at the Sox game gets you full open bar (top shelf liquor included), buffet with such hits as prime rib and pulled pork, and all-included seat service, including beer. Basically all you can eat and drink.

I know it's only 8 home games vs. 82 but I can only make a few games a year regardless. As a non-season ticket holder I don't care about the number of games. Sox are half as much for double the stuff, and much better seats.

I'm sure once Wrigley gets out of the stone age, they'll have similar amenities.

I really dislike the Thursday evening turkey day game. I liked the college nightcap better. Texas-Texas A&M need to renew their thanksgiving game.

The Egg Bowl was pretty good however.

One might argue at the beginning of the season, the Giants were considered a playoff team. So the Redskins-Giants wasn't as bad, but since Thursdays games are not subject to flex scheduling, you get locked-in matchups.

Now the only real things that happens during a Giants game is:
Image
Some claim to be things they aren't.
Some claim things they don't deserve.
Some claim to know more than they ever will.
I don't claim anything, because no one would believe the truth anyways.

I've never seen a team nosedive as bad as the Giants have this year. Even without the million injuries they were on a path to nowhere. Easily the worst head coach the Giants have ever had. Hell he might be one of the leagues worst head coaches in history. He just has no flipping idea what he's doing. If you are going to bench Eli, you wouldn't start Geno Smith. It's not like he's going to be the future starter for the team. I haven't watched a single game this year and I will be hard pressed to watch anything next year. Such a disgusting mess they have created. It makes the Mets look organized.

Why do I watch sports anyway?

The Browns and Hue Jackson would like you to hold their beer. Hue is 1-26. The last time the Browns won on a Sunday, Johnny Manziel was the QB (Dec 13, 2015 - they beat the Chargers last year, but it was a Saturday game). It's very possible the Browns will go 0-16 this year.

Yes, but that's a crappy organization that historically makes terrible choices that setup the coach to fall on their faces. The Giants were supposed to easily make the playoffs and they will be lucky to hit 2 wins. That takes a lot of no talent to pull that off. Hmm Terry Collins is available! Maybe they should give him a shot.

The Giants are 2-9, so they've already exceeded your expectations! :)

They are clearly tanking now. I think they have the right coach for the job. The weird part is they should have started 4 weeks ago - their win against KC was really a stupid thing to accomplish.

To be benched is bad enough, but it does happen to the best of them. To be benched for Geno Smith? That's just mean. I think the coach is taking out his frustrations on Eli. I read that the coach offered to let him start and play a bit so he can keep his streak alive. He's at 210 consecutive starts, the record is 297. So the coach was just twisting the knife.

Brady is currently tied for 4th with Doug Flutie. When he wins this week, he'll be tied with Drew Bledsoe. He won't ever catch Joe Ferguson or Jim Kelly at least. :)

Well, for him to catch either of them, he needs to either play 32 more years, or join the Bills. :)

I mean, I'm pretty sure that Brady is going to try to play until he's 72. We'll see how far the TB12 method goes.

And I wouldn't rule out Brady doing a season with the Bills a la Favre to the Vikings. Though the Patriots shanking both of his backups going into this season makes that less likely next year, at least.
