Yep they have made a movie. Are we sure the world isn't using OO as their imagination?

This is based on a kids book series, in case that wasn't clear.
They were hit or miss with my kids when they were younger.

My kids have read a couple of the books and I think the only thing that they were interested in was the constant use of the word "toilet."
I thought the story was pretty weak.

seems it should fit right in for Hollywood, I mean they made the movie Monster Truck...
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

I think it'd actually make a decent mindless romp. A movie can take the concept and expand on the visuals. Plus I'm sure the screenwriters are gonna be better at it than the original author so...I expect it to be funny'ish.McNutt wrote:My kids have read a couple of the books and I think the only thing that they were interested in was the constant use of the word "toilet."

I thought the trailer had potential, although that might be the nostalgia talking from reading the books to my kids.

I haven't read those books but the trailer looked like something I could see kids (and me) enjoying. I probably wouldn't see it at the theater unless my daughter catches wind of it and demands we do so but I'd likely watch it at home.
