A little short for Witcher, isn't he?

Interesting. Not quite who I expected, but he'll do. That would make him and Cavill the two actors with the highest-profile on the show.

After all this time, it wasn't until I was listening to a cover of Toss a Coin to Your Witcher that I noticed there is an elf-on-the-shelf reference in the lyrics.
Time and tide melt the snowman.

There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, where the sea's asleep and the rivers dream, people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice and somewhere else the tea is getting cold. Come on, Ace, we've got work to do.

S2 Production has started:
Returnees include Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as the sorceress Yennefer, Freya Allan as Ciri, Joey Batey as Jaskier, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, and many others.

They’re joined by Yasen Atour (“Young Wallander”) as Coen, Agnes Bjorn as Vereena, Paul Bullion (“Peaky Blinders”) as Lambert, Thue Ersted Rasmussen (“F9: The Fast Saga”) as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross (“The Danish Girl”) as Lydia, Kristofer Hivju (“Game of Thrones”) as Nivellen, and Mecia Simson as Francesca.
No word on Vesemir...

Finally got around to finishing the last three episodes tonight. Overall, a big of’ sack of ‘meh’. Some cool moments, but I didn’t really enjoy it that much.

That said, Cavill was fantastic, and I’ll tune into a season 2 just to see more of him as Geralt. I had my doubts In that casting choice, but he absolutely nailed it.

Ixnay on the Hamill/Vesemir rumors:
Kim Bodnia, best known as Konstantin the handler of Villanelle (Jodie Comer) on “Killing Eve,” has joined the cast of the second season of Netflix’s big-budget fantasy drama series “The Witcher” starring Henry Cavill.

Bodnia will play Vesemir,

From watching him playing Konstantin, he's a good choice for Vesemir!

The Witcher showrunner says future seasons will reference the games "as often as possible"
“We love the games," Hissrich told TV Guide of the video game’s influence on the creative team behind the Netflix series. "Obviously what we wanted to do is go back to the source material, not to do an adaptation of an adaptation. But it doesn't mean that we're not fans of the games ourselves, that we don't play them ourselves, and that we know that a huge part of our audience has only heard of The Witcher because of the video games.”

Reminder that despite being Henry Cavill, Henry Cavill is one of us. What's he up to during quarantine?

Reminds me of the first time I set up dual monitors. The left/right was reversed. I dicked around with the windows settings for about 30 seconds before picking up the monitor on the right and moving it to the left side.

Why didn't you just swap the cables? Is it because they're Display Port and it'll still backward if you swap the cables?

I'm pretty sure I tried that but it was long ago.

That moment when you just stare and realize that it is upside down, overcome the temptation to just flip the tower over, then sigh and reach for the screwdriver.

Can't tell for sure since I don't know which model AIO he's using but I'm pretty sure you can just flip the display on the water pump via software.

Edit: Looks like an NZXT brand AIO so I am about 95% certain that he could have flipped the display via the utility.

The funny thing is, I could see you sending him a message on this on Twitter and him thanking you for the info.

Not only are we getting an animated version, but Netflix just announced another live-action project:
The fantasy realm of The Witcher is about to get even bigger. Today, Netflix announced a six-part live-action spinoff of its massively popular series, one that delves into a very different time period.

Called The Witcher: Blood Origin, the series will take place “1200 years before Geralt of Rivia” and explore a period when “the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged into one, and the first Witcher came to be.” It’s being helmed by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, showrunner on the main Witcher series, and screenwriter Declan de Barra.
