Re: Star Trek Theme Songs [Including Discovery]
I chose DS9, but I never really liked either Voyager or Enterprise as a series. Don't know how much that factored into my choice.
Also, I love TOS and TNG, but the song never really did much for me. DS9's theme is all power. Also, that first frame of the comet with the particle effects was mind-blowing, at the time.

Re: Star Trek Theme Songs [Including Discovery]
I've never (because I'm old and a prisoner of Netflix) watched a single episode of Enterprise, so I don't know if it's good or bad Star Trek.
Having just now watched the linked video of the theme song, I actually kind of like it. It's not very grand, but it's pop-soulful and personal, and that seems to fit what I would want to be the first efforts of the pre-Federation human space program.
It's either that or Mad Max, right?

Unless I misunderstood you, Enterprise is on Netflix.

I thought it did a fine job of capturing the spirit of all the antics going on in the Tanner household.Holman wrote:I've never (because I'm old and a prisoner of Netflix) watched a single episode of Enterprise, so I don't know if it's good or bad Star Trek.

Is it? I'm the kind of completist who can't even check until I've finished DS9 and Voyager.Redfive wrote:Unless I misunderstood you, Enterprise is on Netflix.

I liked the theme...the mirror universe version.hepcat wrote:If anyone votes for that schlocky piece of crap that Enterprise crapped out onto the world, I will personally slap you with a horta.

I got stuck working my way through the animated series. Then I graduate to Next Gen.Holman wrote:Is it? I'm the kind of completist who can't even check until I've finished DS9 and Voyager.Redfive wrote:Unless I misunderstood you, Enterprise is on Netflix.

Re: Star Trek Theme Songs [Including Discovery]
This is exactly why I like it! It outlines the general theme of Enterprise.. Humans have finally made it out into space proper even with the Vulcans "holding them back"Holman wrote:I've never (because I'm old and a prisoner of Netflix) watched a single episode of Enterprise, so I don't know if it's good or bad Star Trek.

It has been a long road getting from First Contact to where they are now.
It also took a long time, but now they made it.
Etc.. Etc...

Heres a great video of all the themes and movies too. I really love that First Contact one.
