32 years? Wow. It seems like only yesterday that a fresh faced youngster named Bea Arthur stepped off the screen and into my heart.
He won. Period.

I've come to realize I have an unhealthy fascination with your unhealthy fascination with Bea Arthur.

Time doesn't just fly, it causes a sonic boom as it goes by. I first watched Susan Harris shows before Golden Girls was a gleam in anyone's macular degenerated eye. Damn. When I was a kid watching Happy Days, the '50s seemed so long ago that dinosaurs might have as well been roaming the Earth. The Golden Girls is 50% more distant from me now but it feels like only a short time has gone by since that show came out.
