Was just watching this (well, listening to it mostly) when I was working in my game room yesterday. It's on TCM On Demand for another few days if anyone wants to see this classic.

EDIT: I think I have a promo photo of this exact scene in my collection someplace. One of these days I should actually document my PoZ collection for the group.

I'm going to go with Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Lots of torches in all of these movies.

John Wick.

The Continental is definitely a fictional place, and more than 5 people die in the Red Circle Nightclub (which is also a fictional place) scene.

Lethal Weapon - set at christmastime in LA (aren't all Shane Black movies set at Christmas?), and Busey's hideout is a strip club where Mel Gibson is tortured with the electrified sponge.

First thing that popped into my head was “It’s a Wonderful Life”. After Clarence “unmakes” George, several of the Bedford Falls establishments turn into Dens of Sin. Like Martini’s bar turning into Nicks, and various burlesque clubs on the main strip in town.
