Ed Norton's character mugs Donald Sutherland's character at the beginning of the movie to steal the gold the group had just stolen.

The Whole Nine Yards

Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky (Matthew Perry) drugs people as a dentist. His new neighbor is ex-con Jimmy "the Tulip" Tudeski (Bruce Willis). After being arrested for hiring a hitman (which was buggged), Oz and his wife, Sophie (Rosanna Arquette), are ex-lovers, as are Jimmy and his estranged wife, Cynthia (Natasha Henstridge).

Kingsman: The Secret Service. Plenty of bugging and also some drugging (e.g. the recruits are drugged during their trial mission at the nightclub), and Eggsy first calls the emergency number for the Kingsmen after being arrested for stealing a car.

Face/Off.

And I admit it's a stretch with the ex-con and ex-cop angle but I would think the identity switches make it work.

Ant-Man

Ex-con Scott Lang is recruited by Hank Pym to bomb Pym Technologies after he's been forced out. It also deals with Pym's ex-lover (the disappearance of his wife) and Lang's ex-lover (his ex-wife).

I'm going to go obscure on this one since the good choice was taken and bring up Dark Star. Filmed back in the early 70's, directed by John Carpenter, written by Dan O'Bannon, this low-budget gem has the DNA of Alien (also written by O'Bannon) sprinkled all through it. Anyway, it's the story of a crew on a ship on a 20 year mission that finds an alien on board their ship (that is basically a beach ball with feet) and a smart bomb on the ship that thinks it's a god. I haven't seen this movie in decades, but I enjoyed it greatly when I did.
