I plan on buying a DOCSIS 3.1 modem but I'm not holding my breath that it will go on sale, since it's still brand-new technology, and they have no incentive to discount it. There are only 3 real choices anyway - Motorola, Arris, or Netgear. Leaning toward the Motorola.

You sure? Are you absolutely sure you didn't mean to post one of the TVs that Moliere posted? 8-)

I am actually sorely disappointed with the Black Friday sneak peek this year. I have been waiting for a full year to purchase a new 4K TV and it does not look like Amazon, Best Buy, etc. will be discounting the more popular models. :grund: I have been following the LG OLED65C7P and the Sony XBR65930E for month's and the price has not budged.

My daughter wants a Kindle White and I see I can save $30 on that. Now I just need to remember to check for it during the sale.

I thought LG already price dropped their OLEDs? I know I saw the 55B7P for $1599 and the 55C7P at $1699 very recently. Are the 65s not coming down as much?

I have an item I saw in a Costco sale catalog in mind. I am not going to say any more in case the internet is listening. It's probably something meat related. That ought to throw off those vultures. Damn it! dictation o

Definitely getting a new tower. I have a couple of candidates already, but am anxious to see what else becomes available.

The LG B7 is a nice TV but the C7 has been the hot ticket for the past several months. The MSRP from LG is $4500 but Amazon has been selling them at $2700 for several months now, which coincidentally is now the "promotional" price from LG for the holiday. Basically they have lowered the price to match Amazon?? The Sony XBR65900E and XBR930E are also very nice 4K sets, not OLED, and have been listing for $1800 and $2400 respectively on Amazon and Best Buy also for several months. At a price of $2400 for the Sony, might as well spend the extra money and get an OLED. Having said that I was very much hoping to see some sale prices for Black Friday.

tgb - Not sure what sort of budget you have but Cyberpower typically runs some insane deals during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season, or at least they have the past few years.

As my CyberPower just went back due to a faulty motherboard (at my expense)... and got damaged by UPS, so who knows if it'll get fixed any time soon... I'm fairly certain I won't ever buy from them again.

Of course, I'm sure it's possible to get a perfectly good machine that never has an issue. And the price was really good. But after I end up paying to fix it, who knows...

They didn’t make the motherboard or drop the package.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

The only difference is the bezel - silver vs. matte black. It think the C7 might also have the glass screen. The picture quality is the same in both, though.

And camelcamelcamel suggests this is the lowest prices we've seen on the set.

Me and my wife both have to work both those days. Someone has to pay for those alt-tax cuts coming our way.

But they are responsible for the quality of the components. Also for how they support their product. I didn't break the motherboard either. But I had to shell out $100+ to send it back. You are absolutely welcome to continue purchasing from them. I've simply decided that I don't want to roll those dice.

I'm on my second CyberpowerPC and I've never had an issue with them. But waiting on a computer to get fixed sucks. I know.

I used to buy from them but switched over to the Local Microcenter. Same parts, slightly cheaper, and local if there are issues. Because adding shipping times and cost to a warranty repair blows.

Target has a number of grocery items on sale during this time.
