Had heard some good things about a low budget horror film called Better Watch Out, so I rented it off Amazon last night. I have to say, it mostly deserves the buzz.
It starts off as your standard holiday themed slasher film filled with cliches and copy cat material from other movies of the genre. Then around the 20 minute mark it does an about face with a twist I did not see coming. It does have a slightly weaker last 30 minutes, but it’s still wildly entertaining. It’s more comedy than horror. And the gore is surprisingly minimal.
Don’t read any reviews that might include spoilers if you plan on watching it.
