[Poll] The Bottom Ten Week 7
Woohoo, it's time for the all-new interactive Bottom Ten where YOU decide the most pathetic team in the NFL! And what a list of contenders we have...
First, from Superbowl to Bottom Ten Poll we have the Carolina Pathos, who could only manage a paltry two field goals against the mild mannered Chargers defense. "Right now we are just not making the plays that we need to win," Carolina coach John (Yogi) Fox said. "That's why we aren't winning." Brilliant!
And the Buffalo Nils even managed to make an ailing Dijon Sanders look good in their 6-20 loss to the Cravens. Drew Bleedso went 20-for-36 for 203 yards and lost a fumble. His four interceptions were one more than he threw in his first five games this season.
"We've got to play better," Bleedso said. "We've got to run the ball better (and) our offense isn't good enough in the passing game. I don't know what the answer is." Retirement, perhaps?
Pitiful Offense(s) of the Week:
Remember the Titans? 3
Carolina Pathos 6
The Buffalo Nils 6
Shoddy matchup(s) of the week:
The San Francisco 'ers at Duh Bears
The Arizona Cardinals at the Buffalo Nils

I couldn't argue with that. After I had placed my vote, Duh Bears had 100% of the tallies.ImLawBoy wrote:How can anyone not vote for Duh Bears?
Their quarterback is Craig Freakin' Krenzel!

It was a tie between Da Bears and The Fins for me so I went with the Florida team. I think their problems stem from one root cause: Dave Wandstadt.
Sure they lost Ricky Williams, but who the hell designs the whole offensive scheme around one player? NFL teams cannot rely on one player to carry their team. If they do, they are destined to fail.
They did pull off a big upset this weekend, but even the ugly sister gets laid once in a while!

Exactly! If years of Madden football has taught me anything, it's that the best player on your team is almost assured to go down with a season ending injury at some point. (Not sure of the exact percentage, but it's near 100%)Debris wrote:Sure they lost Ricky Williams, but who the hell designs the whole offensive scheme around one player? Even if Ricky Williams was mentally stable, he was still one bad cut away from missing games and then the same thing happens. So my vote was for the Fins
