Struggled with alcoholism, apparently committed suicide (although that's not clearly stated).

I saw him in The Surreal Life (I'm not proud of myself) and he was a mess. I don't know how much of that shown is real, but it seemed life was hard for that guy.

Poor guy. Knew he was a mess at times and had heard of more health stuff but I never thought about suicide for the guy. Poor man. Hope he gets the rest he could have used in life.

I just read some "clickbait" a week or two ago saying he had checked in, or was committed, to some form of institution. Don't recall if it was rehab for alcohol, or for depression management. I appreciate that he, or someone advocating for him, tried to fix this.

Austin Powers actor Verne Troyer's death has been ruled a suicide by a coroner in Los Angeles.

Following an autopsy and further tests, the Los Angeles County Coroner said he died from the effects of alcohol, and ruled his death was a suicide.
It's almost as if people are the problem.
