Fillion posted a picture of rapper Drake and captioned it "Sic Parvis Magna" ("Greatness From Small Beginnings") along with the date July 16. Nathan Drake is the name of the Uncharted game series' protagonist, while the Latin phrase Fillion wrote is the same one that's inscribed on Drake's ring in the game and served as a sort-of motto for the character after he lifted it from real-life British privateer Sir Francis Drake. As such, speculation has run rampant that Fillion might be starring in the Uncharted movie.

I'm a big Fillion fan, but I think he's a little long in the tooth now to play the part. But I would be happy to be proven wrong.
However, I will say that any attempt to include that talentless hack Mark Wahlberg in any endeavor is a surefire way to screw up your potential franchise. Unless his role is that of "henchman who dies 43 seconds into film...and behind opening credits...with no audio.
You joke, but one of these days I'll get my dream movie.

I like Mark Wahlburg. He was great in "The Big Hit".
may be sacrilege but I thought Wahlburg was pretty good in The Perfect Storm, Invincible, We Own the Night and The Departed. There are many others though where is limited range is pretty clear
Well aside from the bad gun play, Fillion starred as Nathan Drake in a 15 min short film. Fun to watch, parts a little cringe worthy, but I have always said that Fillion would be the perfect choice to play him. I didn't care for Sully
Sully was one of my favourite characters. I wonder who they'd get to play him. 10 years ago, I would have said Micheal Caine, but I think he's a bit too old for it now.

Yeah, I know what you mean now. Totally doesn't look or sound the part. I thought Sully was Irish? This guy sounds like an American from one of the southern States. Nor does he really look like much of a mentor.
Love the idea of this and very much enjoyed what we saw. Thought Nathan moved at glacial pace in that fight scene, though. Still, brought the charisma.
He did seem to. He seems so much older than last I recall seeing him.
