Wanted to share with the fam here that I got a job promotion recently that was announced this week at work.

I am now the Director of Nursing of Acute Rehabilitation at the hospital where I work in Denver.

Very nice and rather substantial raise, as well as responsibilities. I'm also on call 24/7 and if I didn't already live with my phone, I'm attached to it at all times.

Monday-Friday instead of 3 12's. However, no holidays or weekends (unless an emergency). I'll be home to see the family every morning and dinner each night. These will be huge advantages for me and my family.

The recruiting and interview process was long and stressful, but I made it through.

Now I get to officially boss people around

Effective Monday, I become Assistance Vice President of Programming and Analytics, up from Programming Manager.
