Michigan. Champions of the West.

Childhood was confusing.
Red Wings being the Western Conference until what three years ago?
Tigers are Central
Pistons are East
Lions North
The Big 10 had how many teams?

Adulthood is confusing

I wouldn't know. I haven't paid attention since 1984.

Well that's not completely true. I know we're going through the "Ottawa has a team" part of the cycle.

The whole time they were toasting my bagel I had fantasies of spitting back to her when she said it to me, "The fuck you just say to me?"

But I didn't. Instead I said, "And also with you." I heard people say that at a church once.
I'm pretty sure the Big Apple Bagels in Naperville is a recruitment center for ISIS, but as long as they are generous with the cream cheese I won't rat them out. There used to be one in my old 'hood that had the best jalapeno cheddar bagels, this one doesn't carry that flavor though.

It may be difficult to tell from the picture, but I don’t think any of the tongs were resting on the bagels: they were all resting on the lips of the container, which was a few inches above the bagels.

Sometimes, to be annoying, I'll list all the public things I've seen someone touch, if they start getting annoying(to me) by engaging in germophobe behavior. I try to explain to them you want other people's germs on you, it's what makes you strong...or sick sometimes.

That bagel emoji looks like a naked donut with a torso that has been severed by some madman.

30ish years in business and they ask every time; "toasted or not toasted". Toasted with their home made cream cheese and plenty of it, yes and thank you.

Now, I have been known to make pizza bagels at home with my daughter and for those a Lenders or something similar is just fine. Because baking is just a fancy way to make something toasted and I can't taste how crappy it is because cheese, sauce and meat. It's just a crispy conduit for toppings.

FOUR pages of bagel hate?! What is wrong with you people?

It's like I don't even know you.

Admittedly, the bagel is no big fat yeast roll, but come on, there are some great ones out there. Four pages?

Toasted and loaded with cream cheese. Might be acceptable. Dip it in beef gravy and call it a day.
