[Weight loss] Anyone tried the Naturally Slim program?
My wife’s work is paying for it, thought I would try it since I am about 25-30 lbs overweight currently.
Anyone try it? It looks like they target insurance companies and get big contracts (smart approach) for entire companies or states at a time.

My employer does it. I didn't qualify (not in the right BMI range) but this year I spoke to HR because I wanted to see the program. They eventually let me in.
It's a good approach but there are a lot of videos to watch. Put aside 30 minutes to hour a day in the beginning to watch that stuff. And it's kind of cheesy but give it a chance.
I lost 10 pounds over the 10 weeks it whatever it was. Which may not seem like a lot I was struggling to get that last bit to my target weight around 162. I've kept it off and although I no longer use the app, most of the good habits remain.

Do you have to count anything to be on it?

Thanks for feedback LB.
Lorini: No counting is a big mantra for this program apparently.
I’ve lost weight using counting before, and easily, but it just seems like it’s not the healthiest approach. Not to mention it’s a PITA, even as good as the various apps are (especially now)

I've used counting, and it was never much of an issue. Of course, I don't scratch-make elaborate foods very often, either.

Wait so are you saying counting is or isn't part of the program?

Counting is not a part of it. If I had to sum it up in one line, it's about satiety and good eating habits (the actual physical act of eating, not food selection).

So, something along the line of eating until you're not hungry instead of eating until you're full?

If only my favorite foods weren't the three c's, candy, cake, and ice Cream.

Ice cream is by far my worst food vice. Both quantity and frequency.
