The Dodgers appear to be peeking, I think they return to the World Series and beat the Astros this time. Or not.

I'm pulling for the Brewers since 1/3 of their Game 163 lineup was ex-Royals.

Also Soria in the bullpen.

Do what I do and rotate in a free trial of Hulu Live, Youtube TV, Sling, etc when you need 'cable' access. Do not under any circumstances sign up for ESPN+, which will not actually get you ESPN.

While the Cubs may not be on TV where you personally live, it doesn't mean the Cubs aren't on TV in Chicagoland.

I have Sling, but it does not have ESPN nor the game.

Oh well, if they win, then perhaps they will warrant mainstream TV coverage. If not, then I managed to avoid being run over by a bandwagon. For some reason, over the past week my son has somehow picked up "Go Cubs Go" and has been singing the song. Since we've watched approximately no games this year, where he got it from is a mystery. I thought it might be worth a shot to see if it sparks any interest (he largely doesn't like any sports, although he does like the excitement when the Bears score).

There are 126 million households in the US (by the last census). ESPN has approximately 90 million subscribers (as of 2016).

That being said, I agree with Jeff that it's not mainstream. Really more of a niche product for the rich and famous.

Note: I am neither a subscriber nor rich and famous. I do have access through my MIL's login however.

All I can think of is that they didn't have an angle that definitively proved his foot was on the base. I'll take it, but the Cubs sure caught a break there.
