I didn't know the name but I sure remember him once I saw his face. Funny guy. In a lot of old stuff I watched as a kid.

RIP

I was surprised to see his obit thought Mamas Family was his main gig. He did so much more (and better) than that.

F Troop was only on the air for two years, but it was prominent in my childhood. I liked Ken Berry because he was "Ken," like me, and not Kenny or Kenneth. Being funny and good-looking didn't hurt. I didn't know he'd done other shows or was still alive, but us Kens gotta stick together.

The other K, the R and the A are all in my last name, so Kraken is my realname spelled sideways, sort of.

Of all the 'what were they thinking when they made that show?' tv shows I saw as a kid, F Troop reruns were my favorite. He was great in it. Later I saw some of Mama's Family, although I have no idea of why I was watching that show, and he was great there too.
