Strasbourg Shooting

Two people have been killed and 10 others wounded in a shooting in the eastern French city of Strasbourg, officials say.

Police said the gunman had been identified and was being pursued. He had been injured in an exchange of gunfire with a soldier, they said.

The shooting is said to have happened close to a Christmas market in one of the central squares, Place Kléber.

The French live under a different set of rules compared to the rest of the world but they are good at copying us in somethings.

Probably has more to do with the location and seasonal event than it has to do with bodycount.

Heard on NPR this morning that the shooter managed to evade police and military through two gunfights and escaped in a taxi... they're not sure where he is, but know who he is.

Our president is using it as an argument for building a wall on the Mexican border because immigrants are scary.

Hailo. Maybe he was afraid the taxi's Flywheel would kill him if it broke so he kicked that idea to the Curb.
