Ghostbusters 2016 one of the leads Erin Gilbert is a typical bookworm, professor in theoretical physics up for tenure at MIT.

And of course the movie is chock full of cameos including most of the cast from the original, along with a number of other folks including Ozzy Osbourne and Al Roker
