Edit for: Huh. On the forum index it says 97 guests, but the sum total of all the sub forums is less. Odd.

Most of the time that I'm here or on any forum I'm not logged in. I'd imagine it's that way with quite a few people?

The forum index is a logical parking page, so it's not that odd that there are some people/bots that just have it open on a browser when they're not actively reading something.

It would be odd if the number were identical. It would be remarkably odd if it was more. It's not at all odd that it's less.

I generally have the New Posts page open on at least two browsers, one of those 24/7.

I don't really read OO 24/7. :oops:

I use the index page, and often have it open on several systems at the same time. The only time I ever look at the 'new posts' page is when I click it by accident. I prefer to read them one category at a time.

I don't think forensic analysis of viewership is a current software feature.

I typically have 50-100 tabs open. Many of them might be open to OO but not logged in.
