Liked his style. Always remember him from Men in Black though.

Re: RIP uhhh Rip Torn 88
I saw this on my morning news feed and was shocked. I'd thought he was already dead.
I would have sworn up and down that I had read he died something like 4-5 years ago.
My first introduction to him was as the bad guy, Maax, in Beastmaster.

Ditto. Now I'm scratching my brain trying to figure out who I mistook for Rip Torn 4 or 5 years ago.
He won. Period.

You guys need to stop switching universes. He hasn't been dead here since the Berenstain Divergence.

I'm in the same universe with the rest of you guys. I thought that was why he stopped appearing in the MIB movies.
I loved him in the Larry Sanders Show. I really need to find that and re-watch it.

Oh ya he was the head priest bad guy in Beastmaster. How could I forget that. One of my favorite barbarian movies from the 80s. Have seen it at least 25 times.

I'll admit my first thought was, "so no confetti?"
FWIW, Taylor is still alive.

Add me to the list and I enjoy(ed) the entertainment both have provided me. I just have a crappy associative memory. And Rip Taylor's name always felt like it should have been Rip Torn which made it hard to ever remember "the other guy's" name.LawBeefaroni wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 10:39 amI'll admit my first thought was, "so no confetti?"

I can't believe Rip Torn was 88. Rest well. From without it seemed you had a good life.
