Butler had played all but two minutes of the Finals and he just gave out. And without him, the Heat couldn't get it done. But I'm happy for the championship, I know all have had it hard this year, but I'm just glad something went right in my life.

Now for the Dodgers :?

Vogel showed a lot of confidence in Caruso by starting him and sticking with him. Tenacious D!

We'll see if either team is in the Finals next year. Golden State will certainly be in play, as well as the Brooklyn Nets.

The basketball in the bubble was fantastic. I especially appreciated the Nuggets/Jazz series, they played some great basketball. I haven't looked it up, but it felt like to me that the games were more competitive, that teams didn't roll over (except the Bucks, they've got work to do). I really enjoyed it from a basketball point of view. Naturally I'm very sorry about what caused them to have to do that, but I hope the people in charge can examine the environment there and see how that brand of basketball can be seen when the teams get back to their usual arenas.

After 35 years of stewardship, the Millers have entered into an agreement to sell the Utah Jazz to Qualtrics founder
@RyanQualtrics, sources tell ESPN.
:shock: Will be very weird to not have the Miller family associated with the Jazz any more. That's been in place as long as I can remember.

The new owner, Ryan Smith (CEO of Qualtrics), is 37 years old.

They most likely will start next season on December 23. Danny Green was saying that is not enough time to recover, so he and LeBron, at least, may sit out for a while.

Seems crazy, though I appreciate them honoring my birthday. We'll see how it goes!

They want those sweet Christmas games.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

Pretty sure that my birthday is more the driving factor here.

NFL is giving us Vikings-Saints.

With fewer mass gatherings, I suspect less people will be looking for the distraction of games featuring teams they likely don't care about. Except for football (and mostly thanks to FF), I don't ever bother watching sports featuring non-local teams that I have no interest in, unless I'm at a party or other gathering where staring at the TV is a more attractive option than socializing with anyone. We're not planning to go out anywhere this holiday season, so anything on the TV will be the normal fare. You know, kids shows and soft-core porn.
