Winter 2019-20 is coming

I think I shoveled a grand total of 2 times this entire winter so far. We're dipping into the 30's for the weekend and then it's shooting back up. Seriously weird weather this year. Saved a ton of money on heating this year that's for sure.

We've gotten maybe an inch or two, but it isn't cold enough at ground level for it to stick around long. Sometimes I miss the days when Indiana actually had winters. Snow measured in feet. Temperatures that start with a minus. That was my childhood. Now winter is just gray and soggy.

Spring is Thursday and its supposed to be about 80 degrees.

Still lots of snow here and we're expecting more, and it's not going to feel like Spring here until around mid-April. I'd go read outside if weren't for this snow or cold weather, which makes social distancing more difficult.

It's currently snowing here. Heavy, wet snow. At least a couple of inches of accumulation in places.

Wasn't but a couple weeks ago TN got hit with tornadoes . Well they keep upgrading the state for bad weather tonight. Looks like TN could be hit with multiple tornadoes again. Tornadoes, earthquakes, famine, disease......anyone seen 4 guys on horses ride by recently?

Worst part is that due to COVID-19 the county will not be activating its storm shelters so people are out of luck when it comes to shelter in the severe storms.

It was 62 yesterday, 73 today and tomorrow shows near 90. I had to put off mowing until tomorrow because water is still standing in my yard. Now ill have a heat stroke. Fun times. Wish mother nature had stuck to making margarine.

And thanks in advance for sending it this way. There's a winter storm warning for my morning commute tomorrow -- I live in the 4-5" zone, although my office is closer to 3" as of this morning's forecast.

Mid-50's this weekend mean I shouldn't need to shovel.

Had about 4" and it was still falling this morning when I left the house. The roads were just wet though, no issues getting to work. I guess my daughter went out and played in it this morning.

It'll probably be all gone tomorrow. Planning to grill on Sunday.
