The Into the Night singer was 73.
I loved his Running Scared performance at a Roy Orbison tribute.

Re: RIP Benny Mardones
Into the night was 1980 and Benny was 34 when he released it. Man time is moving. It always shocks me just a little when all these artists I grew up with pass away.
RIP.
RIP.

That song was a big hit amongst the crowd I was in back then. Although I don't think any of us realized the guy singing "She's just sixteen years old
Leave her alone, they say" was 34! Personally I just assumed he was 19 or 20 because a common problem we had in high school was older guys cruising around the school at the end of the day picking up girls that by all rights should have been ours goddammit!
