Actually, I think Superman may be a better fit, with the earthquakes that erupt across California and result in the death of Lois Lane (necessitating his Earth-rewinding manoeuvre so as to undo everything).

Yeah, in hindsight I think you're probably correct. I was focused upon the idea of a disaster and overlooked the natural aspect. So I'll switch my answer to something a wee bit more apropos.
Disney release a sequel in the 80s called Return to Oz. It was terrible. It still is terrible.
You can watch it on Disney+ if you want. I don't recommend it. It scarred my childhood, there is still a chance it might scar your adulthood.
Nobody has hit on the one I have in my mind. Will give it a bit longer.
