Can't Miss Titles

In honor of Steam's deal of the day: Football, Tactics & Glory (tagline: XCOM meets Football Manager), I was thinking how some words or word combinations in titles will always get me to look. So here's the game. List some of your key words then make some word salad titles that would make you look. I started thinking game titles, but it could be books, albums, movies or even theater.

Strategy, tactics, honor, glory, battle, infinite, war, age, sword, shield, control, tycoon, dungeon, space, star(s), combat, world(s), domain, dominion, stellar, endless

I think the only word that will guarantee a click from me is "tactics", or anything that suggests turn-based or a CCG/deckbuilding/collection element. Otherwise, a random game needs to have an interesting piece of art or screenshot to draw me in. "Loot" sometimes, because everyone loves a well-done lootfest. But 9 out of 10 of the "loot" games I click on in Steam are generic roguelights.

Dubious Quality

There is a game in Early Access now.

The name of the game is Shardpunk: Verminfall. It's is a turn-based RPG.

I'm not here to discuss whether it's a good game, because I don't know.

I'm more interested in knowing whether we've passed the point of no return when it comes to naming games.

Shard. Punk. Vermin. Fall. Four words that are words on their own, seemingly combined entirely at random. We're now just throwing four tiles into a bag and drawing them out one at a time.

How about Fallpunk: Verminshard? Or maybe Shardfall: Verminpunk?

The incredible thing about these four words is that using them in any combination, with a colon in the middle, makes for an equally suitable name. It's sorcery.

Verminpunk: Fallshard. That works, too.

and to that end.. i'm at the point where i have no interest in playing games (or reading books or watching movies) with generic fantasy/sci-fi settings anymore. it's been done (and done, and done, and done some more) to the point of meaninglessness over the past decades and is just annoying now.
