Which of these two Cheech & Chong movies are better?

So which is better of the two C&C movies? I loved both as a teen in the 80s. Thinking of finding a old Cheech and Chong movie to watch again. Want the best though.

Um. I select Up In Smoke because I think I saw it. I don't recognize the title of the other one. So I don't think I saw it. Also, I was never particularly a fan. Except for the "Dave's not here" bit. That was pretty funny.

I thought Up in Smoke was hilarious when I watched it in high school. Haven't seen it since, though, so can't say how well it holds up. Unfortunately, many of the comedies I loved growing up are now pretty problematic (I'm looking at you, Revenge of the Nerds!).

I saw Up In Smoke in the theater when it came out. I very likely smoked a blunt in the theater while watching.

I've always thought Next Movie was far more hilarious, plus it has Pee Wee Herman in it (before he was officially Pee Wee). This scene is still the best!

The thing I learned long after these movies is that Cheech Marin is a very smart guy (he did very well in Celebrity Jeopardy!) and Tommy Chong was a staunch advocate in what he believed (and the true stoner of the two). I enjoyed their movies (and their comedy album) back in the day, but over the years, I liked them more for the people they proved to be.

Liked this scene from Up in Smoke. The cop asking "What do you want?" is too funny to me.
