I have no idea what the context here was but Tapper's reaction to this is fun to watch. You can tell he wants to say something and then just ends the interview.

Yesterday/Today's Trump fun - Yesterday the Lincoln Project released the bottom video (which is worth a watch). This led to a 1 AM today rage tweet orangemantrum.

As an aside, how is it that GOP media specialists even in exile from the party are *so much more* effective at communicating a simple message that has impact. When Rick Wilson constantly says the Democrats are terrible at politics and then helps drop the mic with something like this. WTF.

Yeah - they are improving - but these guys really cut with a sharp knife here. Especially when you consider who the audience for that clip is. Kids won't get it but the people *who actually vote* may very well get the reference. It's super smart.

I'm nigh on 50 and would have never remembered "Morning in America" if I weren't reminded of it.

I can only assume more elderly folk than I are immune to this kind of knifing, much less the Trump = Reagan crowd.
