It's kind of obnoxious, and it fails as a political cartoon. ("Heh heh, she's old and doesn't have sex" isn't political humor.) But it's not offensive in any "How dare they??" sense.

I'm sure that's still to come.

Well, not just that she doesn't have sex; it also makes her a bad woman. In addition let's denigrate her by calling her by a Muslim name.

What, no photoshopped headscarf? No skin darkening? Weak sauce. Not even some hamhanded Lewinsky reference?

As much as I think it's just a really poor "joke" and in horrible taste, I don't think it warrants removal in an R&P photo thread in the R&P forum.

No, we're good. We figured you'd realize it eventually. We just didn't realize it would take you a decade or so. We actually were getting a little embarrassed for you.

Sarah Palin walked into the opposite jokes, but her image pretty much tells them all by itself:

Image

When you add Sarah's words, she pretty much became her own punch line even before Tina Fey ripped into her. Now that was funny:

Not only is that not funny, but quite offensive.

I hope it gets removed.

Still funny. Or at least funnier than a Hillary Clinton can't get laid joke. Which isn't even one of the more bizarre Hillary conspiracy theories.

Not funny at all, just shows non-intellegence from those that try to still cling on to it.

Hillary's was way funnier :D

How about the non-iironic use of "way funnier"?

Unfortunately for Zeke, Tina Fey's Palin impersonation was way funnier. Her comedic impersonation was quite popular and even recognized as funny by Palin herself.

But, you know, alternative reality.

You've lost me.

I recognize Colin Powell, George Schultz, and, um, Malcolm McDowell and maybe some surviving Beach Boys?

OMG is that young Andy Kaufmann behind Powell??

I'm not downplaying the effectiveness or importance of that ad, but I didn't realize the Salvation Army made such public awareness ads. I always thought of them simply as the bell ringers outside the grocery store who helped the homeless.

Just a slight tweak. It is on a suppressor not the barrel itself. There is a video of this that has been floating around as well.
