You'd think NASA would be better with capitalization and punctuation.

The handshake thing happened because she has what Trump doesn't: awareness of people other than her. She waited to go shake Melania's hand because she didn't want to cross in front of her husband's handshake, which would have gotten in the way of photographs. She waited until they were done shaking, then crossed. It's a basic thing any self-aware politician would've done. It's interesting because it's a stark contrast to how Trump would've handled that, which probably would've been to just walk wherever he wanted, as he has in the past.

True Rubio behavior would be:

1) Announce "I will never touch the thing."
2) Pence touches the thing.
3) Touch the thing.

Protesting at the G20 isn't always thoroughly "anti-capitalist," is it?

I was at the gym, and Fox News on the TV said it was, so I have to assume the reality is more complex.

I just naturally compare Mueller to Trump these days, especially when the memes ask me to think about fidelity to country.

As Max said previously, the fact that they're still in street attire means that NASA probably moved the critical hardware out of the room. I'm guessing someone wanted to test who the real idiots in government were by putting up that sign and seeing who would touch it. Kudos to that guy!

Reminds me of this fuck-up guy at work that was completely incompetent at his job. Kept getting shuffled around as he screwed up one project after another.

So this project comes along that he actually successfully completes, and he got publicly recognized at a department meeting for his outstanding effort. I complete projects successfully ALL THE TIME and I've never been recognized at a department meeting. I do my job every day, no recognition. Fuck up does a job right one time, he gets a pat on the back.

Trump is such a terrible human being that we applaud any act of common decency the does that any normal person would do without a second thought.

Not sure if sarcastic? It was phrased that way because one could identify as male, but have female anatomy. Saying "Anatomy of a woman" implies that anyone that has that set of equipment is a woman, which isn't necessarily the case.

Apologies if you were being sarcastic.

I think the issue is that there is an objective biological definition for "female" and "male" regardless of how you identify yourself. For example, if you're a medical student and you need bodies to dissect and research ovarian cancer do you request "female" or "non-prostate owner" corpses?

But that graphic is specifically aimed at the general public, in the context of having sex with someone. They're not talking about the medical definition, they're being sensitive to trans issues. Beyond that, once you start getting into surgical transition, things get more muddy. You could absolutely be someone who has had bottom surgery, but still be a prostate owner. It's not nearly as cut and dry as "if you are a non-prostate owner, you are a female".
