I don't know. :( I did watch Sesame Street some when I was a kid. So maybe it's just my memory?

The list of skits where they've appeared is tiny (~22) considering the total number of episodes of sesame street(4,526).

I am also pretty sure I had never seen them before.

I was thinking more from a pop culture perspective rather than actually seeing them on a Sesame Street episode.

Honestly this is making me feel better about posting it. I hesitated thinking it was too obvious and/or hamfisted to post, but knowing now that some people have no experience with the source material, and knowing the source material is awesome, I feel like I've done a cultural good deed for the day.

As Smoove strongly implies, these guys were a fantastic and memorable part of what made Sesame Street awesome.

I grew up in the country with no cable. If it didn’t appear over UHF I didn’t see it. Although I did get to watch a creepy mid day movie host who called himself Milton the Milkman present a ton of Bowery Boys films, while supposedly making his rounds to various houses filled with strangely quiet housewives. Looking back, I think that may be why I viewed The Texas Chainsaw Massacre less as a horror film and more as a documentary.

I didn't get cable until mid-teens, I think. Growing up in rural VT we only got 3-4 channels. When we moved to Austin, we got a few more, but we didn't get cable until several years after moving there. And then only the basic stuff.

I grew up rural with no cable too, but PBS was one of the four or five channels we got. We watched a lot of Mister Rogers and Sesame Street and 3-2-1-Contact (motherfucking MATHNET, baby!), so you best believe I knew who those guys were.

I don't know them either. Didn't like Sesame Street and never watched it. I grew up on Captain Kangaroo and also one called Fun Time....that was a local show as a kid.

In the original audio, you can hear Trump bark "Get me out of here" at 0:16.

Earlier he took out his translation earpiece and tossed it to the floor during President Macri's remarks, which were in Spanish. (Trump does not speak Spanish.)

Guardian
The Argentinian president was left alone on stage when his US counterpart, Donald Trump, walked away due to a misunderstanding during a photo opportunity. Both leaders shook hands before Trump left the stage, with Macri appearing to call after him. It appeared the Argentinian wanted Trump to remain on the stage as they awaited other world leaders for an official members’ ‘family photograph’

There's more. There were three copies of the new NAFTA deal to sign. During the signing ceremony, President Trump appears to sign in the wrong place on one of them.

This is the exact moment everyone realized, individually with their reactions, including Prime Minister Trudeau.
