I think it means the intermal divisions would erupt causing big crevasses.

It really makes me angry that any critism of Israel's abhorrant behavior towards the Arabs and Palestinian's leads to cries of antisemitism.

There is a lot of criticism of Israel that does overlap with anti-Semitism. But it's not that difficult not to avoid being accused of anti-Semitism (by anyone that matters, at any rate): Here are some simple suggestions:

1. Don't conflate Israel with Jews in general. eg, "I hate Israel, so I won't serve these Jews" or "anyone with a Jewish sounding name is Israeli and isn't an American/has dual loyalties/etc."

2. Don't use anti-semitic tropes or stereotypes. "I hate Israel because we all know those guys control the world"

3. Don't hold Israel to a different standard than every other country, eg, the UN singling out Israel repeatedly for condemnation while it completely ignores dozens of countries that are guilty of far worse, or those that believe that Israel doesn't have a right to exist.

4. Avoid things like conspiracies about Israel or comparisons to Nazis or other completely unfounded attacks.

Pro-tip: Focus on the government and policies of Israel.

(See, for example, AOC, who called Netanyahu Trump-like and called for cutting aid to Israel. While many Jewish groups disagreed with her, none called her anti-Semitic for what she said).

I imagine that would be a more apt description of the Arab dictatorships that have been trying to foster the Israeli-Arab conflict through the decades, in order to distract from their own failings.

(Compare, for example, the Arab spring as opposed to the Israeli Housing protests at around the same time, which resulted in the Israeli government responding to the concerns, and the platforms of various parties moving to focus more on addressing those concerns).

I think the belief that powerful political parties in Israel want disparate things in regards to peace with the Palestinians, and that that division could prove harmful to the state if they ever did create a lasting peace, can exist in light of Arab leaders also not wanting peace.

Absolutely. The ultra orthadox vs everyone else, the many varied parties against one another; the religious vs secular. The only thing that holds Israel together is an enemy; in this case the arab world. Don't get me wrong, the arab world sucks too. They had plenty of chances for peace and pissed it away. I just don't see Israel surviving peace.

I see where you are coming from. Interesting theory. The surest way for Palestine to destroy Israel is to make peace with them. I don't happen to agree that Israel isn't strong enough to survive peace.

A Canadian cartoonist's illustration of President Donald Trump playing golf over the bodies of two drowned migrants went viral Wednesday. Two days later, Michael de Adder said on Twitter that he had been let go by a publishing company in New Brunswick, Canada.

Brunswick News Inc. responded in a statement on Sunday that "it is entirely incorrect to suggest" that it canceled a freelance contract with de Adder over the Trump cartoon.

"This is a false narrative which has emerged carelessly and recklessly on social media," the publishing company wrote. It said that de Adder never offered the Trump cartoon to the company and had already decided to "bring back" another cartoonist it said was popular with readers. "[N]egotiations had been ongoing for weeks," it stated.

Seems like a PR grab for de Adder. Well timed with his book coming and his contract under negotiations.

I believe you're mistaken. That appears to be one of the Shermans that was rolled out for Trump's 4th of July spectacular.

Trump has apparently hung a picture of his recent meeting with Kim Jong Un in the DMZ in the White House. He has literally hung a photo of the leader of North Korea in the White House. However, some genius on the 'net photoshopped the image to be more precise.
