This is a YouTuber I really like - does a lot of enjoyable movie reviews - and he's put out an hour-long video about his time as a Jehovah's Witness and how they interact with the world. The thing I found most staggering was when one of the Elders was being questioned about sexual abuse of children, and the Elder basically said they handle it by isolating the perpetrator. When asked if they warn the greater community about a predator, the Elder couldn't think of a way to spin their absolute indifference to whether or not a child outside their religion might be victimized and just sat there in silence until the questioner fed him a way out. They just ostracize the abuser and let them continue to prey on the community outside the church. If you're not in the church, you don't matter.

I can't tell the bookshelf is a sheet but I can tell that none of the books have titles or authors and that it sticks out, suggesting she is using a background placemat like people do when they are football stadiums or another planet.
