I love the fact that this keeps increasing. I would love nothing more than for it to get up to $50MM, $75MM, or even $100 MM.

It will that much more hilarious when they realize it’s nowhere even close to what is actually required, and then nothing actually gets built. The frenzied howling will be a sight to behold.

Then what? How does that pile of money translate into the building of an actual border wall? The plan, such as it is, seems awfully light on those specifics.

For the record, here’s what I see as the two most likely scenarios:

1. They shut it down and refund the donations, but claim victory because they “proved that the American people want a wall”, or some such nonsense.

2. They partner with a construction company, build a small section of wall somewhere, hold a big press rally and make a big show about how this is “the beginning of greatness”, then the rest of the money disappears into administrative costs without many questions being asked.
