Man this is tough. If this means Harris winning and we'd have to suffer 4 years of this "unfunny comedian" this may make me not want to vote.

Week, they did use his photo in the Cain notice, so they probably think they both died.$iljanus wrote:Now, now there still is Ben Carson the Secretary of Housing and Keeping The Urban Out of the Suburbs Development.malchior wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 12:04 pmMaybe all I hear in my head isDefiant wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 10:55 amNow that Cain died, they should really change it to blackconservativefortrump.com

Biden could have literally made Deez Nutz his VP, and I would still be voting for him.

I have a hard time wrapping my mind around Warren being one of the four finalists, when unlike the others there was zero VP buzz around her for months. I have to think that she was a distant fourth.

She never led the Twitteratti, but I believe read that she was the first choice among younger voters.

I don't doubt that, but why was there constant discussion in (non-Twitter) articles + media about all the other contenders, but essentially no discussion of any consideration of Warren as VP?Holman wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:02 amShe never led the Twitteratti, but I believe read that she was the first choice among younger voters.
I just wonder whether the Biden campaign never really considered her seriously, but went through the motions to avoid offending the Bernie crowd.

Re: Let's play veepstakes!
There was a period of coverage about how Biden and Warren were talking to each other (about policy, not about VP possibilities) every couple of days. If nothing else, they've become firm allies.El Guapo wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:05 amI don't doubt that, but why was there constant discussion in (non-Twitter) articles + media about all the other contenders, but essentially no discussion of any consideration of Warren as VP?Holman wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:02 amShe never led the Twitteratti, but I believe read that she was the first choice among younger voters.

Re: Let's play veepstakes!
I think the assumption from the media, although this was never explicitly stated by the Biden camp, was that Biden would choose a POC. And so most of the coverage went to those candidates. I don't know that that necessarily indicates that Biden was less serious about Warren than the other candidates, though.
