2020 Presidential Election Predictions

Here's a prediction of the number of voters:



If this prediction is correct, it would mean a turnout of about 62-67%. 62% would be about the turnout from 2008 (the highest in 50 years). 67% would mean the highest since 1900.

And that's in spite of blatant GOP voter suppression.

This could be a landslide of epic proportions.

If that's true, Trump will lose in a landslide, if the high turnout holds for the battleground states.

Though I am uncertain how this number is arrived at. It seems vote by mail and the pandemic would make any estimates rather difficult. There's also the issue of disqualified ballots which will increase due to increased vote by mail.

In my blue bubble, all signs are pointing to a Biden landslide, assuming that all of the votes trump can't prevent being cast get counted fairly.

Trump will throw a tantrum and do all that he can to overturn the results, state by state, and he might pry one or two away from the voters...but it won't be enough.

Before he's even removed, we'll be dealing with a right-wing insurgency cheered on by trump.

If he lives a couple more years, trump will be indicted for crimes committed before and during his presidency*, but he'll never serve any time.

The Best Case scenario is still pretty fucking bleak.
