Hiding a Url Link inside Text

URL text

Ok I know that somehow this is supposed to put the url into the highlighted URL Text. But how do I get it to work, Ive tried a few instances and I still cant get it to work. Could I please get a Easy Explanation on how to do this properly with Examples?

Are you looking to put the actual URL as the text? If so, then just type out the URL, it will be coded automatically. Just type something like:

http://www.octopusoverlords.com

and it will come out as the text.

If you are trying to add the URL to a text block then the format is:

[ URL = http://whatever ] TEXT HERE [ / URL ]

without the spaces.

Thanks dangerballs the last one on Text Block adding was exactly what I was looking for. :)
