HTML and JavaScript

Let's say that I have this website for instance:

http://www.metrosports.org/macbl/index.html

and I wanted to add a slideshow like this:

http://www.htmlgoodies.com/beyond/slideshow.html

with the code provided here:

http://www.htmlgoodies.com/beyond/slideshowcode.html

most likely to the top banner section of the page which is this file:

http://www.metrosports.org/macbl/Banner1.htm

Would anyone have any advice to get me on the right track. I use Microsoft Frontpage to produce the website. My main advisor, my brother Vic_Colfari, had his living room ceiling collapse this weekend due to a plumbing "issue" and will not be available for HTML advice this week.
