So this weekend my phone's email program stopped pulling mail from my ISP. My regular desktop email client still works, and I can log in to the ISP's mail site and see the mail there too. Something must have changed with either the Android mail program or my ISP's credentials or certs or something. The app doesn't give any errors, and it's got the right password (when I put in the wrong pw it complains).
Anyone have any ideas? I went into advanced settings and tried all the certificate settings but nothing is coming through. No errors again, though. Just no new mail. It's very annoying. If there was some sort of app log I could look at then maybe I'd be able to figure out what is going on. Maybe I can put the phone in developer mode and get some more info out of it.

I'm going to assume that you've double-checked the push settings already.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

Nuts. I would recommend considering a move to the Gmail app for your ISP mail. The old Android Mail app has been deprecated, I believe, in favor of using Gmail.

Some ISPs don't support push capability with the native Android mail app - it could be that your ISP made a change this weekend that broke it.
