My Remaining Epson Printer Just Died (Replacement In Place)

I've not had much luck with all-in-ones. I've had HP, I've had Samsung, I've had Epson. This was the 2nd Epson to die on me. This one just stopped recognizing ink carts, then reboots itself.

I think I'll try Brother this time. I see that the Brother MFC J480DW is on sale for $70 at local Office(whatever), and substitute ink prices are decent on Amazon (17 for 2 black and 3 color tanks) Amazon don't have it on sale (it's $90 there) I need wireless, I need Google Cloud Print, and I'd LIKE to have color but it's not required. I definitely need Fax. Any other choices that should last a year or two, at least? I still have ink carts for my Epsons (and the new Epsons use different carts, so DEFINITELY not buying more Epsons)

after my second Canon died in 2002, i gave up on owning printers entirely. for my parents tho, it's a matter of life or death (or so it would seem) - i can't believe how much stuff they print out. forms, statements, articles, websites, photos, maps, coupons...

I had lasers die on be too. The Samsung MFC I had were laser.

Bought the Brother DWJ-480, set it up within a couple minutes. Why don't they make the Google Cloud Print setup easier is beyond me. Turns out you have to reach the printer via a web browser to its IP address on the LAN.
