keycaps and where to find them?

If I want to replace all my keys sometime just where might I find a full set of them for my mechanical switch keyboard?

I own a Razer Blackwidow Chroma Stealth. I dont want the same keycaps when I do switch. I want some that will stay on better and look a bit different. Of course they will need to work with my switches and also allow light through them.

Seems like you'd just be better off with a new keyboard.

That said, here is a list of keycap suppliers and a video guide.

Finding replacement keycaps for RZ BW is a bit difficult as it has a nonstandard bottom row.

You need to order supersets (more than 130 keys) that contains the variations for them to fit properly.

You can just replace the alpha keys or whichever keys you want replaced instead of the whole keyboard.

/r/mechanicalkeyboards is where I hang out the most on reddit.

Buy keycaps... Amazon has quite a few, as does Newegg. Rosewill is a reseller of Taihao keysets from Taiwan.

Mechanicalkeyboards.com has quite a few. Massdrop has a lot of groupbuys but delivery time is horrible. And if you want to shop from China, aliexpress.com is good but most of them are for standard keyboards, not Blackwidow.

Any particular reason for the swap?

Just getting a lot of loose ones the longer I have and use the KB. I pick it up without thinking to shake it or clean it and have keys fall off all over the place. Ill end up waiting I bet. Dont want to glue them though.

You could try using a small amount of Sugru to repair your faulty keys (if you're unfamiliar with Sugru, it's basically a form of silicone rubber that initially resembles moldable modeling clay, but upon exposure to air it begins to cure to a more rubber-like texture). Your keys "fell off"? If the keys are just loose on the stem, a piece of Scotch (tm) tape stuck on the stem should fit pretty well.

That stuff reminds me of ShoeGOO that I repair my sneakers with.

Not sure tape would fit well or stay. Tape these days is not what it used to be.
