Portable, stowable true standup desk?

Post by jztemple2 »

After killing my knees sitting and standing and sitting at a fold-up TV tray stand with a laptop on it I was trying to re-image, I think what I need is a true, standup, foldable, stowage desk. I searched all through Amazon but the ones that were portable and foldable were ones designed to use sitting next to a bed or couch. I'm six foot and I want one that has a desk surface about four feet off the ground, is no more than maybe thirty inches wide and can be folded up and put away. Does such a beast exist?

It's almost as if people are the problem.

Awesome! I've got a nearby BB&B, I'll check it out.

Some alternatives would be a standing desk converter (a shorter desk that stands on top of another surface) or a monitor and keyboard arm (I have this one.)

Whether either is suitable depends on what your needs are for 'stowable' and 'portable.'

Our desks at work have buttons on the side to adjust the height. It's less exercise than the old crank ones, but very convenient.
