Suggestions for keyboard key paint flaking?

Its seems my keys are clear and all but the letters are painted black. Around a couple letters the paint is chipped so I see more than just the letter. A little distracting. Ive touched them up wit ha Sharpie but that only last about 3 days. Any suggestions? I hate to touch it because my wife got this for me a few years back as msot recall and it was out of our budget yet she did it for me. I cleaned it around Feb or so 2018..I posted a pic list of how I did it. I dont plan to do it soon but if it keeps flaking its going to be a problem. And new key sets are expensive.

Im thinking maybe black fingernail polish.

I should mention this is a light up keyboard so the light has to shine through the letters.

Here is where I posted when I cleaned it.

Appliance touch-up paint maybe? Rust-Oleum makes it, comes in a bottle that looks like whiteout.

The stuff is pretty stout. I know they have black and white color options.

Fingernail polish will not be flush and the tactile addition might be distracting.

I'm assuming you can type fairly well, so if you're like me the only keys I ever need to look at are for the number row symbols. Other than that my keys can be blank for all I care.

i'd personally just leave it alone myself (i don't need to look at the keyboard to type), but i'm guessing OP doesn't want that answer.
