How do you trade/sell Steam games? I thought once installed you are stuck with them for life.

He might have some gift keys. I tend to just give those away, but I guess some people could sell them

When you purchase a game on steam now you have the option to take it as a gift instead of installing it. It goes into your gifts and guest passes section. It’s a great feature for when buying games during the big steam sales.
