FS Apple Airport Extreme - SOLD

I have a 1 week old Apple Airport Extreme I want to sale. Thought Id offer it to OO before getting it up on Ebay. It didn't like my Windows PC so I got me an Asus N600 thats working perfect.

Ok I bought this Apple one and for the 5 days I used it it would drop the wireless on my laptop every night. I finally gave up and called Apple and they basically...well literally...said sorry cant help you because you're using a Windows machine. $200+ since I got a 1 year extended warranty out the window. They said it was not a hardware issue and that it was the software causing it. The Windows software is version 5.something and the MAC one is 6.something. He straight up said Id need a Apple item..like a MAC or Iphone to use the good software on to configure the router so it works.

Anyways I love the ASUS so no worries. But I do need to sell this Apple one. And Im being honest..this is only for those with Apple stuff like a MAC. I dont think the extended year warranty is transferrable but I could look into it. I paid $220 but Id take $140 shipped. Its a week old in box with all stuff..which is just a booklet and a power cable.

So lemme know if anyone is interested. As I said Apple says its a software problem and Apple users would not have a problem. Thats their words but I cant guarantee that.

I am appalled at Apple's attitude on this. They shouldn't sell the damn thing as a Windows hardware piece if it wont work. And you cant return it for a refund...just repair or replace. And since he said its not hardware then Windows folk are out of luck. Its a $200 paperweight to them.

Ya didn't see that well. You buy an Apple product...least this one...and if it doesn't work too bad. They'll give you another just like it..used...but that wont help people like me lol. They really in effect said sorry thanks for the $200.

I always admired Apple and trusted them. thought they were progressive and high tech. Now NEVER will I even consider Apple for any product.
