Board game trading?
Is anyone interested in trading board games? I certainly have a few that I would be willing to trade (Istanbul, Splendor, probably a few others) if anyone was interested. I have no idea how much shipping would run, but it certainly seems like it would be a cheaper way to try out new games than buying them.

I would likely be interested. I have a couple I'm willing to trade for certain games. I have a few games (Robinson Crusoe, base set for Star Wars armada, Star Trek Catan, Relic Runners, and probably others) that I'm looking to get rid of. Incidentally I've been thinking about Istanbul.

Cool. Well if there's enough interest, I'll put together a list of the games I'm willing to part with when I get home tonight.

I would take a look. I'm very picky about board-games though.

I have a few that I might part with, but I buy few enough that I tend to really do my homework before I buy, and don't end up with too many that don't fit my preferences.

Re: Board game trading?
I put together a list in my head last night but now I can't remember all of them ( ), but I think the games I definitely would trade:
Splendor
Battlestar Galactica
Smash Up
King of New York
I might also trade Istanbul, though my girl friend wouldn't be too happy (she likes it more than I do)...

Fury of Dracula Second Edition.

Re: Board game trading?
I want Splendor, but I don't know what I am willing to give up... other than Mercs: Recon but that might be a bit uneven. Also I expect shipping for Splendor will be shockingly close to the cost of Splendor. Damn cheap games.Ralph-Wiggum wrote:I put together a list in my head last night but now I can't remember all of them ( ), but I think the games I definitely would trade:

You mean Amazon Prime doesn't cover these shipping fees???
Even with the fees it may be worth it for certain games. If anyone is interested in any of my games, feel free to list your games here or PM me with specifics.

I've got a *sealed* copy of X-COM: The Board Game that I'm looking to ditch in exchange for something. Don't think it will fit in with my gaming group.

I might be interested. I'm not sure it'll fit with my gaming group either, but it looks interesting enough. Do any of the games on my list interest you?
